To roseyk, i was just wandering how do you get a cl of 234,500 in less than 2 years starting with a cap one at 300.00. This is an attempt to help folks rebuild their credit so that you are not denied for too many inquiries. The card i was looking at was the rewards cash back which is 5%, 3% tiered rewards. Citi for some reason dosent have the cli request on thier website, but it is on the app, which i did and it gave an option to continue as a soft pull and would ask if they wanted to do a hard pull, and then denied for unexplained reasons, which i assume is the same reason as cap1. In addition to amex' current policy of not performing a hard pull until after acceptance of an approval offer (and even then they often don't even do that if you're an existing cardholder, but that isn't guaranteed) the apple and gm rewards credit cards are other examples of cards where an application is currently processed using a soft pull. That was my first credit card in years since messing up my credit as a kid.
